A hidden-city itinerary is a ticket to a later airport with a connection at the place you want to reach. You leave at that connection and do not take the last segment.
This is also called flight skiplagging. Atlas compares these routes with standard tickets and shows the complete itinerary. Some searches do not have an Atlas option.
